Comments from Rob Banks

Secretariat of State AKA: Joey, was hand raised here at my farm and has been handled daily since birth, he is like a HUGE puppy dog. Joey has the look, movement and ring presence to take his next rider to the TOP of his/her class. Joey has a BIG, LOFTY, FLOATY trot, and a deep hocked lope, he also can slow down and condence his stride for a Western Horsemanship class. Joey has been schooling 2'6' - 2'9'' fences and made his debut in Open Hunter Hack in Jan. 2005 with a respectable 3rd place under all 4 judges. He is a beautiful lead changer, and this came to him VERY NATURALLY, he is almost an auto changer at this time. His goal for 2005 is to add Junior Hunter Hack and Jr. Western Riding to his resume'. Joey has been starting on the ground driving and harnessed for the Pleaure Driving Class, but lack of entries at the local shows keeps us from taking him in the class... He is truly an All-Around contender, and I am excited to have had the opportunity to have owned and showed such a great one. He is 100% sound. Joey was started under saddle Dec. 25, 2003 and within 12 months has acquired Nationals Points in Non-Pro Hunter Under Saddle, Junior Hunter Under Saddle, Hunter In Hand and qualified in 3YO HUS....amoungst all this he has been shown on the open Houston Texas Horse Show circuit, and has won 5 of 7 HUS Stakes Championship classes competing against some of the TOP AQHA, APHA and ApHC HUS horses, he bested out 21 horses in March in the HUS Stakes class.
